Organisational Behaviour (OB)

Understanding human behavior is pivotal for organisational effectiveness. Recognising this, the Collge for Defence Management designed a Management Development Program (MDP) on Organisational Behavior for officers across all three services. This one-week course utilizes interactive sessions, case studies, psychometric tools, and group activities to facilitate experiential peer learning. The program serves as a catalyst for officers to leverage human behavior dynamics, fostering enhanced organisational excellence.

Timing

Management Development Programme – Organisational Behaviour (MDP- OB) will be conducted from 08 Sep 2025 to 13 Sep 2025. Working hours will be from 0830 to 1400 hrs in the morning session and 1500 to 1730 hrs in the afternoons.

The QR for the course is officers including instructors of Cat A & B Ests of all three services of the rank of Maj/Lt Col, Lt Cdr/Cdr, Sqn Ldr/ Wg Cdr or equivalent Civilian Officers of not less than 12 years’ service. Officer who have already attended HDMC are not eligible to be detailed on the course. Officers not meeting this criteria will be returned to their units.

The course is designed for 37 participants. The vacancy distribution is Army – 13, Navy – 07, Air Force – 03, DGAFMS – 02, DoPT – 02 and FFCs – 10.

The duration of the MDP OB is six days. The MDP- OB 2025 course is from 08 Sep 2025 to 13 Sep 2025..

Working hours will be from 0830 to 1400 hrs in the morning session and 1500 to 1730 hrs in the afternoons.
