Big Data & Visual Analytics

The Management Development Programme in Big data and visual analytics is a six days duration program conducted at the College of Defence Management (CDM), is designed for Armed Forces officers (Colonel/Lieutenant Colonel, Group Captain/Wing Commander, Captain (IN)/Commander) to enhance their skills in handling large datasets and extracting insights through Visual Analytics.
The program covers crucial topics such as Big Data concepts, Advanced Excel for trend analysis, and the use of tools like Microsoft Power BI for interactive reporting. With hands-on sessions and a military-focused case study, participants gain practical experience in applying these techniques. The course underscores the importance of a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, providing a valuable platform for officers to bolster their data analytics capabilities in a military context.

The duration of the MDP-Big data is six full days. The MDP-Big data (2025) is scheduled from 30 Jun 25 to 05 July 25.

The QR for the course is Col/Lt Col, Gp Capt/Wg Cdr, Capt(IN)/Cdr from Armed Forces. Officers must mandatorily have working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

The duration of MDP Big Data 2025 is six full days wef 30 Jun 25 to 05 Jul 25.

Working hours will be from 0830 hr to 1700 hr with a lunch break from 1330-1430 hrs.
