COMMANDANT

Major General G Srinivas an alumnus of National Defence Academy and Indian Military Academy, did his early education from Sainik School, Korukonda. The officer has held various important staff, command and instructional assignments. The staff exposure includes tenure in Military Secretary Branch and Brigadier Quartermaster of a Pivot Corps. The instructional assignments includes three tenures in Arty School, Devlali and one College of Defence Management, Secunderabad. Presently he is posted as Major General Operational Logistics, Headquarter Western Command.

Major General G Srinivas has attended various prestigious courses of the Indian Army. He is qualified on Long Gunnery Staff Course, Technical Staff Officers Course, Higher Defence Management Course and National Defence College Course. His educational qualification includes Master of Science & Technology Weapon Systems, Master of Management Studies, M. Phil (Management) & M. Phil (Strategic Studies). The Officer is a recipient of the Chief of Army Staff Commendation Card. Apart from an extended military experience of the General Officer is an avid reader and a keen golfer.  The General Officer played a pivotal and proactive role during OP SINDOOR, significantly enhancing op readiness of the formations. After a successful and fruitful tenure, the Major General Operational Logistics Headquarters Western Command, the General Officer stands posted as Commandant (designate) of the prestigious College of Defence Management (CDM) to assume appointment on 01 October 25.
The General officer is married to Mrs Vaishno Devi, a distinguished educationalist with a deep sense of commitment to the field of learning and development. The couple is blessed with two daughters Miss Shreya and Miss Sneha and both daughters are currently pursuing their doctorate studies at prestigious universities in the United States.
